Our fees
Clear costs, agreed before you commit.
You will see exactly what advice costs, in writing, before you decide anything. No surprises, ever.
Where it starts
The first conversation costs nothing.
A relaxed 20 to 30 minute conversation, in our office, by phone or by video call — whichever suits you. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to sign, though a rough idea of your pensions, savings and any policies helps.
It carries no obligation to proceed. If we are not the right fit for you, we will say so.
How charging works
Two charges, both agreed in advance.
Initial advice
Charged for preparing your personal plan and recommendations — understanding your circumstances, researching the options, and setting out what we think you should do and why. You see the cost before the work begins.
Ongoing service
Applies only if you choose an ongoing review service. Many clients do, because a plan that is never revisited stops reflecting your life. It is entirely optional, and it is your choice.
Both are explained and agreed in writing, with a personalised illustration, before any chargeable work starts.
An honest answer
Why there is no price list here.
Because a number without context would mislead you. What advice costs depends on what you need — consolidating three old pensions is a different piece of work from planning the sale of a business.
Quoting a headline figure would either overstate the cost for simpler work or understate it for complex work. Neither helps you decide.
What we can promise is that you will know your exact cost, in writing, before you commit to anything — and that the free first meeting is where we work out what you actually need.
What you can count on
Four things that never change.

Paid for advice, not sales
No adviser here earns a bonus for recommending one product over another. Sometimes the right answer earns us nothing at all.
We never hold your money
Your investments and pensions are held by regulated providers and platforms, in your own name.
Ongoing service is your choice
Many clients choose an annual review, and many do not. It is optional, priced separately, and you are never locked into it.
